Ukrainian Evacuee Resettlement Project – Project Completed

Ukrainian Evacuee Resettlement Project – Project Completed

The Rotary Club of Calgary North has been working with other Calgary based Rotary Clubs and collaborating with community groups to support basic living needs for Ukrainian Evacuees who have come to Calgary to escape the war in Ukraine.

Rotary Club of Calgary North focused on providing financial resources to fill the gaps in existing government and non-government support programs.

RCCN raised over $100,000 for this project and has distributed all of the funds to Ukrainian evacuees needing support. Unfortunately, the RCCN Ukrainian Evacuee Resettlement Project is now out of funding and, as a result, RCCN WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUPPORT.

Brawn Family Foundation Rotary Park for Child and Adolescent Mental Health

Brawn Family Foundation Rotary Park for Child and Adolescent Mental Health

We are one of the major donors supporting this project. The park, to be completed in the fall of 2022, has been designed around the needs of children and adolescents receiving treatment at the adjacent Calgary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinic. It is estimated that about 60,000 youth from Southern Alberta will be helped each year by this single facility.
